A lot of other things are forgotten, but everyone remembers the introduction, our high-energy interactive dancers, your party animator (MC), the music everyone danced to, and singing along to their favourite tracks.
When our team of entertainers are recruited to work for PURE, they are all required to go through an extensive training program, where we teach them how to properly DJ and MC a variety of events, which allows us to ensure that your teenager can celebrate this milestone in the most epic and fun way. Not only do our entertainers know how to get the kids and adults out of their shells and hop on the dance floor and dance along to their favourite songs, but we also offer a variety of lighting, f/x and staging options to make the party extra special. The Philippine Debut is a cultural tradition for the Filipino community. It is a coming of age celebration for Philippine women that is somewhat reminiscent of the Latinx tradition of the Quinceañera celebration. The difference between the Quinceañera and the Philippine Debut is the age at which the celebration takes place. The Philippine debut celebrates a woman entering into her 18th year, while the Quinceañera takes place on a young lady’s 15th birthday.
On their 18th birthday, Philippine women throw this large party, complete with their own hand-picked debut court of 18 people. These 18 people are 9 males and 9 females who the celebrant pairs off into partners. The celebrant’s court usually wears a uniform formal outfit chosen by the celebrant similar to that of a wedding party, while the celebrant typically wears an extravagant ball gown.
The birthday celebrant along with her partner and court perform traditional debut dances for their guests. It is common forthe debutante and her court to perform Filipino Folk Dances such as the Tinikling, even wearing the traditional Filipino folk clothing. The most important dance that the celebrant and her court performs is known as the “Grand Cotillion Dance” which is usually a classic waltz. There is also an “18 Roses Dance” where 18 males picked by the celebrant beforehand dance with her after presenting her with a single red rose. This dance is almost always preceded with the memorable “Father and Daughter Dance”.
During the celebration, the debutante also has 18 chosen “candles”. These “candles” are females who know the celebrant and must give a short speech on either their relationship with the celebrant and/or any special birthday wishes they have for their celebrant. After all the food, entertainment, and Philippine Debut traditions for this wonderful occasion have been completed, the celebrant brings the celebration to a close with a Debutante’s speech in which she shares her life experience and gratitude with her beloved guests. This is one of the most memorable events in the life of a special young person and their family.

PURE is excited to offer Toronto's first interactive pinata party service! Pinatas add that extra pop of fun for kids and adults, but at PURE we take things to the next level. We provide interactive expeerience that will entertain everyone, even the guest not swinging the stick will love it. It starts with with one of our incredible party animators interacting with the guest (your party animator will pick the person who get's to swing at the pinata and gets the crowed engaged), while the pinata operator adjusts the height of the pinata as guests try to hit it blind folded. Part of the party animators job is to also keep the guest of all ages safe from the swinging stick, our party animator will have full control of the room and will have all the guests counting down from ten before the swinging begins.
Imagine having the ability to connect your DJ or VJ with your guests in a way that allows the guests to request their favourite song. Well, here at PURE Entertainment & Audio / Visual we provide our clients with an option to add a LIVE REQUEST STATION or two (table top kiosk or our larger kiosk stations available) to their package, that can be located in high traffic locations around the room where guests can touch the screen and fill out the music request form through out the event. The requests are sent to the DJ or VJ in real time, but not all requests will be played, as the DJ or VJ has to decide if the request provided will work for the party and it's guests (some requests can be inappropriate, not popular enough to keep the floor busy or on our DO NOT PLAY list provided by the client).

THE HIGH BAR PHILIPPINE DEBUT EXPERIENCE
HIGH BAR Hospitality & Event Group is Canada's first luxury mobile cannabis bar providing cannabis sommeliers, budtenders, consumption lounges, cannabis catering and other hospitality services. The concept was created by Lucas Margulis who is the Founder and President of PURE and HIGH BAR.
