INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT
Note – It's Pure Entertainment ("PURE") will submit your payment as noted and agreed upon via our records. The "CONTRACTOR" is the individual with the FIRST & LAST NAME as stated above.
Independent Contractors Acknowledgement & Agreement*

The CONTRACTOR will provide their services to HIGH BAR as an independent contractor and not as an employee

The CONTRACTOR agrees that HIGH BAR shall have no liability or responsibility for the withholding, collection or payment of any taxes, employment insurance premiums or Canada Pension Plan contributions on any amounts paid by the HIGH BAR to the CONTRACTOR or amounts paid by the CONTRACTOR to its employees or contractors. The CONTRACTOR also agrees to indemnify HIGH BAR from any and all claims in respect to the HIGH BAR's failure to withhold and/or remit any taxes, employment insurance premiums or Canada Pension Plan contributions.

The HIGH BAR agrees that as an independent contractor, the CONTRACTOR will not be qualified to participate in or to receive any employee benefits that the Company may extend to its employees.

The CONTRACTOR and HIGH BAR acknowledge that this Agreement does not create a partnership, or joint venture between them, and is exclusively a contract for service.

The CONTRACTOR is responsible for returning all tools, equipment and uniforms, as applicable, for the work that HIGH BAR has contracted you to complete. All equipment must be cleaned properly before packing up and leaving the event.

Payment will be sent to the bank account provided unless notified to HIGH BAR in writing of any account changes. The E-Transfer will be sent via email to the address provided above.

No notifications will be sent showing that payments have been made by HIGH BAR.

Once the CONTRACTOR has accepted to work an event, CONTRACTOR must arrive on time to the event as per the instructions of HIGH BAR. The CONTRACTOR agrees to always give extra travel time to account for traffic. Kindly be aware that any delay in the start time will have an impact on the invoiced amount. Following the commencement of your scheduled start time, a fee of $2.00 CAD per minute will be imposed and subtracted from the total invoice sum. The aforementioned fee will be deducted from the total amount stated on your invoice. It is advised to arrive between 15 - 20 minutes before the designated start time, and it is important to note that traffic congestion will not be accepted as a valid reason for tardiness.

The CONTRACTOR is responsible for their own travel cost (parking, food, gas) when getting to and from their events unless it has been confirmed in advance by HIGH BAR.

All reimbursements must be backed up with receipts (photo image or hard copy) which have been approved by HIGH BAR prior to spending

It is a requirement that you wear the designated HIGH BAR outfit as outlined on your invoice. If you require a a HIGH BAR uniform, you will be subject to a fee of $25.00 CAD for the rental and maintenance of the HIGH BAR Uniform. All "Budtenders" must wear black dress pants,a black belt, black shoes and a white dress shirt buttoned to the neck. HIGH BAR will provide black suspenders as part of the uniform. The Cannabar experience uniforms are provided by HIGH BAR at no cost.

CONTRACTOR will always make an effort to impress the client, event planners, and venue as anything else would harm the reputation of HIGH BAR. CONTRACTOR agrees to make every effort to ensure every single event a success and to go above and beyond to make the event a special one for our clients. CONTRACTOR must never use profanity at an event. CONTRACTOR must not use illegal drugs, smoke or vaporize any form tobacco, cannabis or consume cannabis or alcohol at any event.

Stealing or taking prizes may cause a forfeit in receiving payment, and no longer be provided work. Criminal charges may apply.

Indemnification: The CONTRACTOR will indemnify and hold HIGH BAR harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, punitive damages, expenses, reasonable legal fees and costs of any kind or amount whatsoever to the extent that any of the foregoing is directly or proximately caused by the negligent or wilful acts or omissions of the CONTRACTOR or its agents or representatives and which result from or arise out of the CONTRACTOR's participation in this Agreement. This indemnification will survive the termination of this Agreement.

The CONTRACTOR irrevocably authorizes PURE and its affiliates, successors and assigns those acting under its authority, to copy, use, publish, for art, advertise, trade or use for any other lawful purpose whatsoever, photographic portraits, pictures, or videotapes of the CONTRACTOR, in which they may be included in whole or in part.

Any errors, or misrepresentations in the above fields, may cause a delay or forfeit in receiving payment.
